the Selby part is the surname of her real Father my mum says Thomas was my dads surname my grandmothers first husband Roe was the surname of her second husband this is why i am finding it so hard to do my fathers side of my family tree |

i have just looked at Laura F Thomas in marriges and i think this is he right Laura because i have heard the surname Parrish before so its her maried name but will have to confirm itt with my mum tomorrow to find out i thank you all for your help x |

thank you all for your help i am now in touch with my Aunt in Grimsby i have a couple of names a Florence draper her daughter audry know to have had a dance school in Sheffield in the 40s and was a well known dacer and the Mr Ward that has been mentioned was my grandmothers brother. |
