A tree on Ancestry (in fact, several trees) says George Henry died in 1953 .

Rose remarried in 1958, to George Glenn, and she died in 1998 in Gorleston, Norfolk.

Apparently Rose and George Glenn had had a son in 1947, born in Norfolk, and registered as Robinson. That son died in 2011.

Presumably Rose and George Henry split up around 1947, which would be why Rose and the children were at Smugglers Cottage without George Henry, if I'm reading the Curious Fox post correctly.

I'm trying to locate any relatives of my father Edwin/Edward Basil Robinson. If any of the names listed below are familiar, please email me.

George Henry Robinson married to Rose Ellen Lewry
Rose had 3 brothers Joe, Arthur & Albert Lewery

George & Rose had 3 Sons and 1 Daughter (there may be more)
there names are
Edwin Basil (1st August 1939 in UK) you may know him as Edward. Married to Catherine Alice Chandler, moved to Australia around 1973.
Paul Ivan (date of birth not known)
Michael William (born 4th August 1938 in UK)
Rose (Nicknamed "Dinky") married Ron Edwards and moved to California many years ago.

Hi,can anyone remember the robinson family who lived in 'smugglers cottage',Jarvis Brooke, around 1950..mother rose ellen,children,michael,paul ivan,rose,richard,basil edwin,george?In 1957 they moved away.We believe michael was sent to prison for 9 mths..what happened to him after,we still hope he is alive,but despite trying,cannot locate him.Also,does anyone know what happened to Paul?The ages amongst the kids varied and none of them can remember as some lived away by then and some were too young.Paul was last seen at smugglers cottage,and possibly the next house further up the road which they moved to for a time.We believe michael and paul both went into care for a period,but think they both came out.There is a very good chance that michael and paul will still be alive as michael was born in 1936 and paul born 1944..please help,siblings and family desperate to be reunited.Anything,anyone can remember could really help no matter how small it seems.Thanks,Dawn.

Michael William Robinson born 4/8/1936 and Paul Ivan Robinson born 23/3/1944. Have tried many avenues, last known address jarvis brook/crowborough east sussex.May have ended up in care system..barnardo's..but by no means certain. Trying to reunite with other siblings and pass on some news.
