Her surname has been transcribed as "Cornish"

A son born to the marriage in 1960.......MMN Comish.

The entry on the 1939 register is badly transcribed.
The surname has been transcribed as Cornish, and Ellen has been missed off.

Entry should read:
George B Comish 21st September 1908 Grocer and Provisions Manager
Ellen Comish 23 October 1909

It is possible there is a child on the next page but the entry has not been opened.

Not seeing a marriage for George Cornish to Ellen, where was that please? have you bought the cert which would give you father's name?

I am looking for anyone who may be a close relative of Ellen Leach born in 1909 Liverpool. She was the eldest of 9 children born to Ellen Hesketh 1891 - 1929 and Thomas Leach. Siblings are Thomas, Christopher, James, David, Thomas, Richard, Joseph and Arthur. I am wondering if Ellen ever married. I can see a record for a marriage to George Comish in 1936 and can find a birth for one child only. No one in the family can recall her marrying. I can see a death for Ellen Comish in 1977, but also a death for Ellen Leech ( different spelling) in 1986. Both seem to have been born in 1909, one in September and one in October. Can anyone help at all please?
