Hi all, I am trying to trace living descendants of Wilfred Maurice Martin, I have most of the family history up until his marriage.
Researching the Surname Martin in the London area is a bit like Jones here in Wales, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wilfred did marry Louisa J. Rawlings, and I did think they had at least two children, perhaps the children were staying with relatives in 1939, I hope that is the case, otherwise that branch of my family dies out completely

I think Sidney would be from the other Martin /Rawlings marriage in 1921, same district though, the other 2 look the best match, but they could be from the other family too.

I did check it out but the date of death is in the wrong quarter, so I'm not certain it is the right one.

Wilfred's death in 1971 Barking seemed right, but I know now he died in 1968 Colchester, transcribed as WILFRID!

Too many marriages for Dennis W. and Doreen L. to pin down the right ones.

If died September 28th, and registration can be up to 5 days for death, then that goes into October quarter?

I have a very large collection of family photos and documents etc. dating from the 1870's to the 1960's, I have tried to find as many of my cousins as possible, an uphill struggle and a lot of luck as none would know who I am, to date I have found 40, all have full online access for everything in the archive, it also means that they can share the responsibility of safekeeping for future generations.

The Martin family have remained elusive and although I haver never had to pay for documents for this project, I may have to have rethink.

Everyone deserves a photo, I am sure you have all heard stories about the one family member who has all the family photos, won't share and a few years down the line everything is binned, it shouldn't happen, but it does unfortunately
