Find Living Relatives

I wonder if anyone can help in find some information for Douglas Brown, born in Mount Pleasant Westchester New York in 1939. He was an only child. His father was Laurence D Brown and mother was Jennie Wray. Jennie died 1978 and gave Douglas's address as Brewster New York. I don't know when Laurence died. I'm hoping that Douglas is still alive and well.

You'll see there are a lot of Douglas Browns who live, or used to live, in or near Brewster. None of those who give ages are old enough to be your Douglas, but there are quite a number without ages stated.

The relatives' names (given for some of them) might mean something to you.

Are you sure he was born 1939 and not 1938?

1940 census shows Lawrence with a different spelling and born c1910.

I had a look and nothing comes to mind. I am not sure if he had a middle name. I really have nothing much other than his parents names.

Rose, that could be Lawrence Brown. It said that Jenny was the wife of Lawrence in 1978 when she died. I can't be sure of the year that Douglas was born, except in the 1940 census states 1 year old.

It doesn't look as if we can find anything, Aspen - at least I can't.

Douglas Brown isn't an uncommon name, so impossible to pinpoint him in a phone directory or similar.

He may well still be alive.
If he's not, there aren't any US death records which look like his, on Ancestry.
If he died after 2007, the record won't be available online in any case.
