You could always order the marriage certificate. It would give you his age and father and then you could look for siblings. |

My mother was born 1969 and as far as I can remember he was a little older than her but not much. |

There are three possible births for that name in Birmingham (although he could have been born anywhere of course). One in 1946, one in 1958 (the most likely I would have thought) and one in 1976 - although that one would make him only 16 when he married, possible but unlikely. |
