All born in Surrey - you may be aware of the precise places covered by the registration districts

Francis (aka Uncle Bill) was born 22 Oct 1916
Dorothy born 7 Jul 1916

Linda, as its unlikely that anyone would actually 'know them', years of birth might help to identify them on available records.

In 1981, Francis, Dorothy and Malcolm were all living in Otahuhu, Aukland. That was the last available Electoral Roll s record held on line.

In the same year, Rowena was living in Eden, Aukland, an Airline Clerk. She obviously wasn't married at that time.

Using Susan Primrose b 1948 as key words, there are several results for seperate people.

1972 - Susan Primrose Salter (Clerk) living with Martin Salter, (Public Servant) in Pahiatua, Manawatu-Wanganui
1981 - Whangarei, Northland

1972 - Susan Primrose Young - Says married but can't see a male at the same address in Hastings, Hawkes Bay
1978 - living with Antony John Young at a differents Hawkes Bay address.
1981 - at another Hawkes Bay address. Antony John Young is a chartered accountant.

Because of the NZ privacy laws, it isn't possible to search for marriages which took place in the last 80 years.

Update - Linda is going to write to the address provided and appreciates that it may be the wrong Susan.

If that happens, its been suggested that she buys a copy of Dorothy's DC.

In addition to the usual who, when, why and where, the informant is likely to be one of their children. There is also a column asking for the number of living children. Although it would be 1994, the informant’s normal address could be traced forward on request by the New Zealand ‘Ask a Librarian Service’
