You will be able to view / download James's death certificate from Scotlandspeople. It will name his parents including his mother's maiden surname if the informant knew the details. It should also give the address and relationship of the informant. When you have James's age and parents names if you post them on this thread someone will find the census records for you. |

At the time of the 1911 Census James Agnew would probably be between 18-20 |

Thank you so much Doug, I am not very good at this but hope the more I get into it the better I will be, I am looking for a bit of both, it would be nice to meet with living relatives and get to know them and their families, I had used Scotlands People but although I paid credits for some pages I can not find them to see and will have to wait until someone finds them for me LOL, been having problems with my laptop and not sure whether it has wrong system (mac ) or something I have done wrong, I |
