Find Living Relatives

Thank you for the help. I must have been distracted as I did not intend to be in the living relatives secion and I also note that I put Stephen instead of george as my Great Grandfather, whereas Stephen was in fact his father. I know plenty about George in later life but have lost him between birth in c. 1824 and 1864 when he married Annie Prior and was listed as widower. I knew about the Minchin connection as Elizabeth was Annie Prior's sister and Priscilla was their mother. I'll see what other information I can find now using Stephen with the additional information. I will then report.

Maureen, did you intend to post on Find LIVING Relatives or are you hoping that one will spot this thread?

Does his later MC give his father's name and occupation? Are the witnesses from the Brides side, or might they be his?

I know that my Gt Grandfather's name was Stephen but I cannot find any trace of him or of George Collins' early life. He was a widower when he married Annie Prior in easthampstead, Berks, in 1864. Any clues please?
