Hi David
The 'VIC State Library'' (on-line) has an 'Ask Us' librarian service. They will check electoral rolls (past & present) i.e. from 1980+
They also check newspaper death notices -if given approx. dates.

The 'RYERSON INDEX' (on-line) shows newspaper death records -to present day. They will also do 'look-up's from any newspapers of interest. (librarians do same too)

Seeking descendants of Geoffrey Bruce Hancock (1914-2000) and his wife Barbara Knight-Coutts (1906-1978). Married before 1948. He was involved in banking in Sydney and Mildura.
Known children are Sally Ann (teacher) and Margaret Jane (bank official). Last known address in 1980 was 10 Leddy Street, Forest Hill, Victoria. Family would like to renew contact.
Any assistance much appreciated, seeking help for a distant cousin.
