Try the electoral roll listings for the most recent names you have on
http://www.searchelectoralroll.co.uk/Electoral_Roll_Search.asp
Cross reference the address on 192.com to see if they are still current.
You could also try the BT on-line phone book, but if you do find a more recent listing, write - don't phone.

Not only may they be uninterested in remote ancestors ringing out of the blue, you won't be aware of their state of health or if they are in the miiddle of cooking dinner./coping with a crisis. You'd probably end up with the phone slammed down on you as a 'cold call' or scam.

as i said if they havent opened their messages then they unlikely to still be members.

Can only suggest then you look for any family members on the electoral rolls , They seem to still be in the Liverpool area

Have you tried following through the family or looking for the deaths of lilian and hubby as family could be the informants on the death certs .

can you post what you have at the mo .ie birth dates for lilian and ling sang, their marriage date etc

Hi I am looking at the name Sang (Chinese) to which would be in my tree. Descendants of Violet and Ling from 1920s I know they had a number of children - hence grandchildren. I have posted a few messages on this site to members but have not been opened. Any descendants would be my 2nd cousins. Violet was my grandfathers sister (Birmingham).
If anyone knows of people with this name would they please let me know.
