can you pay someone to find family

hi this is all giving me a headache, due to illness I just find searching so hard and don't really understand it all, so can I pay someone to do all the work for me xxxx

Well how would you know who you could trust to do the searching for you and the cost may be prohibitive

If it's a current address you are looking for try putting the enquiry with some names and area possible birth etc details

Then paying a genealogist won't be of much use probably, except that they will follow all the steps you've been advised to take and will charge for their time doing so as well as the charges for the certs mentioned.

If you follow the advice given on the other thread on how to buy the marriage cert then we can look to see if any of David's family can be found.
