Thank you Joonie, There had been a reunion of Wildcat members and my Aunt had said that they hadn´t heard from Audrey for awhile and she wondered if she was still alive. I can now give them the sad news.

so her birth was likely

Audrey Southam Apr-May-Jun 1940 Wortley Yorkshire

and if you search at freebmd you'll see she was from a family of 10 children 1940-1965

(only one marriage to match the parents' surnames)

so I think you would likely be able to find one or two but sadly just a little too late to find Audrey

(was looking in order to see whether they had middle names)

... my mistake! I had something set wrong

Audrey had no middle name on the marriage

there are Yorkshire births 1940 and 1942


they had no children, or was Southam possibly not her birth name?

Audrey Southam married Maurice Hopwood in Sheffield in 1965. she was possibly b 1942
Maurice was a member of a band called the Wildcats and it´s the wife of another member who would like to know

Maurice has died and we know Audrey had cancer. The last known address was Staincross.

Can anybody help?
