A marriage in 1975 correct area, have sent PM with address
and phone contact for this Eileen nee Marshall

You have to look for a marriage between 2 people with the child's surname and the second surname shown. That is the mothers maiden name. Its only possible with births after Sep 1911 when the index started to show the mothers original surname

It's not an exact method especially as there may have been several marriages between people with the same names.

Looks like her parents are Thomas and Dorothy and she was born in 1953

Take a look on FreeBMD for all the info

Her birth should be on FreeBMD which will show if she had any second christian names which may help

Hi

I am trying to get a trace of an Eileen Marshall (from Washington) think she was born in 1952 ish - think she was born in Newcastle but was from Ashington. Father was called Tommy Marshall.

She is my Mum's cousin.
