Hi Wilma,,,,,It would be impossble to know full birth details from Scotland birth indexes as they dont give a maiden name agaisnt a birth unlike England /Wales ,although it can be narrowed down to areas,without buying all or any certificates that may or may not be any relation,it would prove costly as its £12 per issue of a certificate,,,,,,alone from 1942 to 1945 there are over 200 Cowan registered births....... |

My Husband,Thomas Cowan recently found he probably has a sister. He was born in Edinburgh 1942 to Margaret. Name of sister unknown, but may be born between 1942 and 1945 , also in Edinburgh . Would like any info please. |
