I'm looking for my sister Beverley Secker born 1963 Ashton-under-lyne [possible]
She was foster from birth and i believe she was adopted ....
I would be greatful for any information ... :-)

Original thread - inky advised the poster today to repost on FLR.

There isn't a lot on the original, just advise to register with the Adoption Contact Register.

If she is also looking for birth family, she may have done so as well.

Is she and her parents on your tree? Have you looked to see if Beverley is anyone else's? If so, send the tree owner a message.

There is a birth registered in 1963 in Ashton, mmn Ray. Presumably this is the one you refer to. If you are unsure, you could send for a copy to check the parents details.

Although there is no indication of the name being re-registered, the certificate would indicate if that happened. Her full dob may help further down the line.
