Many people start their trees on here then lose interest.

If they've changed their internet supplier and thus their email address, they will never receive message notification.
Then again, they may have become incapacitated or even died. Unless their NOK knows their passwords etc, the dormant account will remain on this site for ever.

Check your sent message box - if there is an envelope icon next to the messages, they haven't been accessed

Thank you very much for the marriage details.
I started looking on her a few years ago as there was an Alan Jenkins born the correct year and sent off about 4 requests but he has never replied back - so he may have changed his e-mail address or does not want to reply - the latter I find strange as why would he have put his name on here. His father and mine were brothers + my dad was his father's best man.
I will have a look at the website you have mentioned.

Joyce married Keith Bowker in 1965

Freebmd shows one Bowker/Jenkins birth in 1969, but in Hampshire - do you think that may be possible?

There are 5 entries for K or Keith Bowker on http://www.canada411.ca/

Have you checked all members trees on this site? If they are listed, send a message to the tree owner asking how they are related

Hi
Trying to trace 2 Liverpool families - Joyce Jenkins who married someone called Bowker and an Alan Jenkins. I am told that both of these emigrated to Canada, probably around early 70's 80's. Finding them could help plug some gaps in my family History.
