Re: the 1841 census. Remember that ages on that census were rounded down to the nearest 5 or 0 so both Apphia and brother John could have been between 15-19.
Edit: Or was the brother Thomas as per the 41 census. Note also that there are 2 children aged 20, they would have been 20-24.

Have you tried Family Search for possible baptisms
|
Morning, would some kind person be willing to do a look up on 1851/61/71 census please. My relative in Oz is researching a Apphia Perkes who wed a George Lewis in 1844. We know she was born 1826c and appeared on 1841 census age 15 alongside a John born the same year but not sure if they were twins or father remarried. Believe she had older brothers and the name Charles comes into the family somewhere. Her parents were John? but her mother ann/Hannah/harriett?? not to sure or if she was the mother of John. in 1871 she wed an Esau Parton in Lancashire and a short time after she was thrown from a horse-buggy and hit her head on pavement in Stourbridge and died. ANY info that could be found would be greatly appreciated for we cant seem to find any records of baptism etc., for her or her siblings. thank you for you time,
