Find Living Relatives

I recently discovered I have a brother somewhere named Tony Edwards, born 1961. Tony has been looking on here for my father, Tom Allen, but stopped posting in 2007. Any help appreciated. I think he may have been born in Derbyshire.

Thanks Yvonne. I believe he was adopted so it would fit that he'd be given his mothers surname.

Just combine the info onto one and delete the other.

It's possible Tony has connections with Pye Bridge, maybe through his original birth mother. Perhaps someone here has had contact with him as a fellow seeker? He was making great endeavours to find us.

Have you tried contacting him via the old messages by clicking on his name on the top left of the message. If he still has the same e-mail address he should get your message.

Go to SEARCH at top right of the page and from the drop down menu choose Search All Member Trees.

If you click on the box "Find out more" next to Tony's name you can send Tony a message providing he still has the same e-mail address. You will also see the name he was using when he put Tom Allen in his family tree.

I've given it a go, no response as yet. I've also sent a message to all the Tony Edwards of the right age on friendsreunited just in case he's on there.

The writing styles are very similar, yet his name does change on some of the posts.

What do you all make of it?

The Rootsweb site shows his email address,,,you can click on that and it opens your email facility.It maybe an email address thats still in use.

I've sent an email off to the roots address with a delivery & a read request. Nothing. It's very frustrating... I know he's out there somewhere

I have some more information. Seems his mother lived on Selston Rd Jacksdale, Nottingham NG16 5LF when she was expecting Tony and she probably had him in the winter.
