I am looking For Malcolm/ mike Harvey born about 1937 lived in Oakhanger, hampshire about 1955. Married a Gail Bradley in Blackpool in 1962, had a brother Ian.

Find the marriage record on freebmd, and you'll have accurate info about his name

Why are you unsure?

Have you been told that you are related in some way?

the marriage just shows him as Malcolm with no second christian name

Gail is Gail A which may help the search

the fact he lived in Hampshire in the 1950,s doesnt help find his birth or parents.

Presume the whole family lived there ?? if so do you have names for his parents

looks like they have two children born in the 1960,s Blackpool reg district

Thanks Guys for your help, He was baptised, Malcolm but all his life used the name Mike. I am really looking for anyone who may know the family at all.

And to see if he or any of his family are still around as a surprise for my fathers 80th Birthday in December they served together at RAF Titchfield and my father says if anyone he would like to see before he died it was this chap.

My dad went to his wedding so I knew he was in Blackpool around 1962 but my dad thought he moved and we also moved so they lost contact.

The births suggest that the couple were in Blackpool until at least 1967.

They don't appear together on the ER on FMP, but that isn't necessarily significant, as many people opt out of the public version

Was Ian a younger brother?

There's a Malcolm Harvey born 1935 who could have had a brother Ian. Mother maiden name is Edwards so it's not certain.

You are a star, we found Malcolm Harvey after 7 long years of searching My Dad and Malcolm are now in touch thanks for everyones help they are now skyping every night.
They are both coming up to their 80s and are acting like teenagers.
