When did you last see her?

She may not have married, but have you tried looking?

http://www.freebmd.org.uk/

Have you used GR's search all trees function?

Her birth registration gives her mothers maiden as Parker suggesting she was born out of marriage

Was she adopted?

Hi, yes she was adopted

In that case, you could see about adding yourself to the national adoption contact register

BUT........look anyway in search trees, as if she's looking for birth family, she'll have added herself in her birth name

It is always helpful when asking for assistance to tell us all you know

Unfortunately as she was adopted, her names are likely to have been changed. Although the law has changed recently, only the adoptee has full access to their records.
The following is a contact site for birth families reaching out to each other. As you are so distantly related, you may not be eligble to register

https://www.gov.uk/adoption-records/the-adoption-contact-register

As well as using the search all member trees on this site, find her birth entry on http://www.freebmd.org.uk/
You can then leave a Post'em message asking anyone searching on her behalf to contact you. Create a dedicate free email address for this purpose such as @hotmail, @gmail etc
