Still trying to find Richard Martin Tierney. Born Dublin 11 August. 1940. Last heard of in Victoria. Australia. Married to Patricia Pretty. Daughter Carol .

I don't know if this is any help, but the full names may help in search- from Ancestry electoral registers:

In 1968 Richard M & Patricia Ellen Tierney were living 19 Golden Ave, Carrum, Victoria. Richard is listed as a metal worker.

By 1977 they look to be living separately at different addresses.

In 1980 there is a Richard M Tierney (metal worker) living at 1/11 Broadway, Chelsea, Victoria- no other Tierney'a at this address, but there is a Carol Marion Tierney living in the same area at 3/77 Woodbine Grove, Chelsea, Victoria.

Did you contact the Carol that has Richard Tierney b1940 in her GR tree?

The only R M Tierney I see listed in the Australian White Pages is living in Queensland.

I can suggest you try the 'State Library of Victoria' (on-line) -it has an 'Ask Us' librarian service ..they will check electoral rolls -past & present.
