Hi, My Wife Sarahs maiden name was Trowell. We have researched the family tree back to the mid 1700s. Unfortunately we can not find any cousins or other living relatives. We think that there were Trowells living in "THE ROCKS AREA" of East Malling Kent. Could anyone in the South East with this surname please contact us if you think we may be related.

Click on "Search" above.........and then "Search all Members Trees" from the drop down menu to see if any other members have your family in their tree.

If you find any connections.........you can then contact the tree owner/owners.

Welcome to the boards, Dave.

Have you looked to see if anyone on here has Trowells in their trees, and attempted to contact them that way?

You need to go out and find them, not wait for them to find you, as very few members of genes read these boards.

Looks like your father-in-law didn't have any full siblings so your wife won't have any Trowell 1st cousins.

By the way, you have him listed as being born 1922 or is it 1927?

Your wife's father married her mother in 1955.

There is a marriage for the name in 1948 in Kent, which is probably the older chap, so, as you seem to have the wrong birth year in both of your trees on here, have you researched the wrong line?

Incidentally, do you have your full tree on here?
