Find Living Relatives

I searched FMP for overseas marriages but no luck.

Success, I have now received the birth certificate for Michael John Evans and the mothers maiden name is Hedwig Emilis Paula Evans formerly KEITLING, and she signed the certificate, Heti Evans.

The address on the certificate is 21 Blackfriars Road, Southwark.

So I finally have the mothers maiden name, but I am no closer to finding the current whereabouts of Michael John Evans.

I will now search the electoral roles in the area for Michael John Evans and any marriages in the area, any other ideas would be appreciated.

I appreciate this is a long shot but there is a marriage for a Michael J Evans in 1977 Wandsworth.

I now have the death certificate for Hedwig (Heti) Evans, the informant was her son, Michael John Evans. His address is difficult to read, but it is something like, 31 Yorlde Gardens, Reigate, Surrey. This was in 1995.

I have searched the electoral roll, but I never have much luck with this on Genes.

If anyone has a better search tool I would appreciate any help I can get.

Could it be 31 Yorke Gardens? Unfortunately the place was sold in 2005.

Thanks Rose, yes I have contacted the current owner who bought the property from a relocation company 9 years ago.
So I do not know when Michael Evans would have left the property, I only know that he was there in 1995.
I don't know if he ever married and if he did I don't know his wife's name.
I am therefore at a dead end.

I am now resuming my search for Michael J Evans. I have been in touch with Reigate Council to try and get the 1995 electoral roll, however they tell me that they have to destroy all records over 15 years old. They have now put me in touch with the Surrey History Centre in Woking and I am waiting for a response from them.
If I can find out if he was married and find his wife's name I can try again to find his marriage record and maybe get further with my search through the electoral rolls.
