Find Living Relatives

Hi im looking for any family that Andrew Thompson Smith D.O.B 1918. He was born in Hexham but died in 2003 in Leamington, Newcastle. He was married to a lady called Hilda Smith who was born in 1916 but died in 2010. Im looking to find out if Andrew and Hilda had any family.

If that's the marriage then any births should be there from 1943

Unfortunately if that is the marriage, it closely followed this one:

If they stayed in Northumberland then there are only two Smith/Warne births.

Could be from either of the marriages.

Smith was Hilda's married name to Andrew. They married sometime after the early 1970's and this was Andrew's 2nd marriage. I now have their last known address which is in Newcastle. Hilda died in 2010 aged 94.

Andrews first marriage was in 1937 and this was to my gran, they had a son and a daughter. The son was my dad, he died in 1990, the daughter in my Aunty who is still alive. Andrew was my grandad that i never saw.

If Hilda was 94 in 2010 she was born in 1915/1916.

If they married in the 1970's she would have been in her 50's or 60's at marriage.

You put that you are looking for any family for Andrew and Hilda - when she was over 50???

Or do you mean that they lived together for a long time before the marriage?

I can't see a marriage for an Andrew T. Smith in 1937. What was your gran's name or your dad's name?

Nor can I see a marriage after the 1970's for an Andrew T. Smith.

The only marriage of an Andrew T. Smith to a Hilda is the one already given in 1943.

There is a Hilda and Andrew T. Smith on the electoral register in Newcastle up until 2003. If this is the one you found then I would say that they are the couple who married in 1943 and you may have got some of your information wrong.
