Many thanks for coming back to me about this. I have very little info about her and can only guess when she was born and estimate from 1890 to 1900. I can see if I can get a marriage certificate. She married John Reid Webster Archibald who was Scottish but I have vitually nothing on him either, other than he was a Captain in the army and a surgeon - he read medicine at Edinburgh - and was was awarded the MC. They lived in York for a while but he died young (mustard gas poisoning in WW1) and then she moved to near Hastings. She died in her early 60s in 1955 I believe. After her first husband died, she married again, the surname was Hodson.

Can't see her in Nicky's tree on here, so no clues available

Nicky, it's unlikely anybody who knows this family will see this.
You need to tell us what you already know. Such as:
When she was born
Who she married, where and when.
Do you have a marriage cert for her?

I am trying to find out about my grandmorther Margaret (Peggy) Reid who was from Norhern Ireland. She came from a large family. I believe one of her sister's names was Sarah but she was known as Sis. Peggy lived in York for a while and on the south coast of England where she died. If anyone knows anything about this family, I would be delighted to hear from them.
