My Fathers lost Sister

My Father Frank Ingham 1821/1985 had a sister who he lost contact with when he was sent to a home in Birmingham from Oldham back in the 30s, He always said he had a sister but never located her, now I am researching the family tree I have taken over the mantel to try and find maybe not his sister but relatives of as his sister would be 91 now. Not impossible that she is the marriage in 1940, but she would have been extremely young? Is it possible that if her brother was sent to a home she was also and possibly fostered or adopted? |
