As the mother's maiden name is shown on the birth indexes, even if it is not her first marriage...........

There are no Napier/Bower births 1951-1971.
Also there are no Wicks/Bower births registered 1937-1951 which would be the case if she wasn't married to the father.

I am looking for any children of Philip Wicks and Sadie Nixon Bower. I have been told there was a son - not sure of his name it may be Brian also not sure if he was an only child . Parents married in 1936 in Northumberland. Divorced.

Sadie went on to marry an Arthur Napier in 1951 - children from this marriage?

I recently found that Philips second marriage produced 2 children and I now have their details.
