Another thought -

Take note of the details from the Ryerson Index posted earlier. They are extracts from various newspapers.

Each State/Territory in Australia has an 'Ask a Librarian' service. If you were to contact the Victorian one, they would be willing to look up the details. The names of children might be included.
The one for the Probate might have some sort of contact details on it, possibly that of a solicitor.

You would have to tell them what the Ryerson extracts say - an easier version on the eye...........

Assuming there is a fee, first ask if details of those named, and hopefully their addresses, will be shown or redacted. The Australians have tighter privacy laws than the UK. One would have thought that a legal professional would be named. They might be willing to contact the last known address or the relative on your behalf, or give you some other clue.

1954 – as above. Not spotting any other Smiths at the same address, but there are loads of entries on the page.
1949 – 16 Blanche Court, N14 Coburg Wills, Vic, Described as a mechanic. Elsie also there.

I’ve not inspected all available years……eye strain!!!

Don't think that all these cremations/burials are yours, but at least some of them are. If you contact the Cemetery, they might give you the name of who ever collected the remains or organised the funeral

I have on my family tree Leslie Arthur Ferriman and I am keen to find any living relatives of his .His children were Allan L Ferriman, Elsie A Ferriman, Iris M Ferriman, and Doris E Ferriman. I should imagine that they are all deceased now or the youngest being in their 90s . They are all from the Victoria area of Australia .Leslie Arthur Ferriman on my tree married Alice Maud Sara. I have had some great help on here recently and any help on trying to find living relatives would be much appreciated
