Descendants of the Timms family in Coventry. Especially the Sleigh's, Potters, or Jarvis' families. Also family Edna Rose O'Neill who died in Australia in 1993. (All linked to Timms).

I think you need to give some names and dates.

Have you looked to see if anyone on here has those ancestors in trees on here, and made contact that way?

Is Edna Rose O'Neill her maiden or married name?

Presumably you have looked for possible births/marriages/deaths on free bmd or other websites?

Edna never married. And yes to looking on here/contacting people.. Any Sleighs from Coventry who know they have links to Timms, date irrelevant.

Are you expecting these family members to see this thread?.....that may never happen I'm afraid,....or you may have a very long wait

Are you just hoping that some time in the future someone will contact you (as jax suggested) and so do not actively want to search out possible descendants?

If that is your plan, then make sure you keep your contact details up-to-date with genes.

Where do you get your figure of 80% - do you mean paying members?

If you are expecting people to contact you, you are relying on those people paying in order to initiate contact, whilst you, apparently, do not want to pay.

Is that a correct reading of the situation?

It seems, from the wording of your posts, that you just plan to sit and wait for others to make the effort................................whereas, if you just stirred yourself a little , you could easily find potential contacts on GR
