edit - leaving this here to rule out - I had first not found the matching birth but then on a second search it appeared - I had thought George might have adopted the first part of a compound surname

Hi reggie and Rose
thanks for looking- I am Esme's daughter and its her i'm trying to find relatives for - her mother Ivy died when Esme was just over a year old and does not know relatives on her mums side, just her dads.
I've not been able to find marriage or death details for George himself .
The info regarding who registered his fathers death could be helpful- how do I find that out? thanks

As you have Esme's children in your GR tree, you must be in contact with them.

Do they not know what happened to their mother's uncle?

If you look on FreeBMD, there is a marriage listed for Esme. There are 2 children showing.

Edit: Looks like you already know this as they are in your tree.

Hi looking for any info of living relatives. He had a sister Ivy Lucy Elizabeth Simmons who passed away aged 29 in 1935 and his parents were Ernest Vandepeer Simmons and Emily Rebecca Simmons nee Green.

His sister Ivy married Joseph Hadley and they had a daughter Esme Lavinia Hadley.

Any help would be appreciated :-)
