JANIS MARY CARTER was born 18/04/1949 in Huddersfield and was placed in care with her slightly older brother and sister. As a toddler she was suddenly adopted and her siblings never saw her again.

Due to the age she was adopted it is thought she may well have kept the name JANIS. If anyone knows of Janis or the date of birth rings any bells please get in touch. Her siblings have been searching for many many years for their little sister.

Have her brother and sister put their names on the Adoption contact register?

Yes all formal avenues are now being looked into. Putting it on here is just an added thing in case anyone comes searching.
