Are you sure it's Maisey's garden and not Winifred's? Winifred married a Moody in Thanet which covers Ramsgate.

have you checked whether anyone else on here is looking at this family?

Another PM....this time stating that Annie was cuddling a girl of about 5 years.
The child is the only one on the photo who hasn't been identified, so I don't think there's actually any way of knowing whether she is even related
Stella
please don't keep using PM.
Use the big box below................
have just found Maisie's birth.............with her correct first name

Rose is down as married in 1901, but claims to be widowed by 1911
No sign of a death for her husband in the interim. Unless he died overseas
There is, in fact, a noticeable lack of BMD records for these people.
I can't see the child Maisie's birth, nor the 1932 death of Rose.

I have had a PM from Stella
Thank you for the info. 1911 census Andrew (Annie's Dad-widowed) was living with my grandmother (Rose Moscrop). You have 'Marie' but that is Maisie, Andrew's daughter with my grandmother, so Annie's half-sister. Maisie went to Canada in 1949 and all that side of the family went too. Grandmother Rose died in 1932 and the photo I have shows the family in Maisie's garden in Ramsgate, Kent, with Annie with a daughter on her knee. Haven't found a marriage for Annie yet or where she was after that.

Not too many girls born with MMN Dingwell who would be young enough to sit on Annie's knee c1932.
Possible it was one of these girls:
Births Sep 1922 Covell Jane I Dingwell Newcastle T. 10b 164
Births Dec 1924 Covell Agnes Dingwell Newcastle T. 10b 148 Births Mar 1933 COVELL Florence M Dingwall Newcastle T 10b 183
Which would match this marriage:
Marriages Dec 1921 (>99%) Covell John Dingwall Newcastle T. 10b 183 Dingwall Annie I Covell Newcastle T 10b 183
Can't seem to find a birth for an Annie I Dingw*ll that fits so it could be a transcription/typing error.
EDIT: Not this one as I found her in 1901.
