Apparently, they were adopted out of the family. I am a friend of their sister and she only discovered they were adopted when she was older as she too was placed in a foster home. Yes, they are from a large family. Their sister has been searching for them for a number of years so I volunteer to help her through this site.

Were they adopted out of the family OR a second marriage & adopted by the new partner ?

There seems to a lot of siblings & a 1971 birth which one of the siblings has on their GR family tree

I am trying to find Michelle Shaw born April 1966 in Bolton, Lancashire and her brother John Shaw born November 1967 in Bolton. Their mother's maiden name was Fisk.
