Find Living Relatives

Hoping to find information for family of George and Emily Georgina Gray/Grey from Edinburgh who has one son George in 1947 in Edinburgh. Emily maiden name is Kennedy. Been searching Scottishpeople for the wedding cert but cant find it. I found that George snr died 1966 June and Emily died 20 june 1972.

Hoping to find their son George but cant find if still in Edinburgh or moved now. Any more tips for where I could search please.

As most of the OP's other threads are about Irish people, perhaps that's where the marriage took place?

Thank you for your help, I haven't been on for a long time but I have found out that Emily died abt 1967 in Edinburgh and has a son called George still living in the Area but haven't found him yet.

I cant find the marriage for Emily and George in Ireland nor birth for Son Goerge born abt 1942ish so I guess they were married in Edinburgh. If I find marriage or where they lived then I think I would be able to go further with my research.

George Gray married Emily Kennedy in 1944 in Edinburgh

If you wish to view the marriage certificate you would have to purchase it.

On another point Kennedy is not an exclusive Irish name.

There is another branch of Clan Kennedy who are of Scottish origin

They were a powerful clan in the South West of Scotland

As I have said you will have to purchase a copy of the marriage certificate if you wish to see what information is on it as it is not available to view on line.

If you are sure that Emily died in 1972 then I would suggest that you would be better off ordering a copy of her death certificate as you will then have the name & address of the person who registered her death.
