(I, for example, saw that there was a new post in this thread only because I was looking in at this forum -- because I had posted in it before, when I checked 'My threads' - link on the left of this page - I saw that there was something new, your message)

If you click on her name, you can send her a private message. If she still has a current email address in her account here, she will receive a notice of that.

From the thread, it sounds like Jane is searching for other children of her mother.

I did post to say Terry had been found but unfortunately the search in Canada came back after Phil got his adoption details his birth mother was not my mother .My aunt had adopted him . So my search for Michael Philip Doorey has begun again I never realised you had to put it in the same thread my apologies.Thanks for your help and info . :-D

Just a note that you can do the same thing at Ancestry. Many people who subscribe or search there don't know about Freebmd (unfortunately).

For example you could add his middle name as a 'correction' and in the explanation give your email address. You need to be a subscriber to do this ... but there are free trial subscriptions. ;-)

I am trying to find the area he was adopted in I have contacted Ashington adoptions waiting to hear back from them.

Have you, or his relatives added their names to the above Register?

If you are sure he was adopted, add his name to your tree in the hope that someone might also add him to theirs.

You could open a dedicated free email account and add a post'em to his birth entry on Freebmd asking him or anyone who knows him to make contact.

Searching for Michael Philip Doorey born 11/8/50 in Ashington Northumberland. He was adopted as baby. :-D
