The problem is I have no idea where Martin was born. I only found out about him after my mother died from another relative who was only a child at the time so does not remember many details. |

Aussietrish, wouldn't it be better just to ask Sandra what part of the country her Martin was born in? rather than post the birth details of several unrelated peopl who are almost certainly living and may well not want the facts of their birth displayed in public on the internet in a discussion of their mothers' unmarried status ... |

I have done a quick search of ancestry and between 1954 and 1958 the following babies were born to mothers with same maiden name. |

Martin was adopted between 1954 & 1958. His birth mother was Dorothy Smith. I am his sister and would dearly like to trace him but have drawn a blank so far |
