can anyone give me any further information on clifford john and florance evelyn riley i have tried to do searchesfor their parents but drawn blanks on my great grandmother and great grandfaher

yes thank you I now have my notebook update my family tree and put in the details you have given me,,its such a shame I wasted all those years trying to contact the wrong person, well they say you live and learn and I have certainly learnt a lot tonight from people I don't know who have had the decency to help a lost child find her lost family thank you all

Sorry but my phone wont allow me to views the probate you sent me and I have to buy the adobe pdf which T the moment I cant afford to pay, plus I now must get some sleep as my partner dosnt understand me being on this phone at this time of the night and I need to carefuly readust my belief that the lady in Nottingham may not be my biological mother after all and need time to get it into my poor confused head so I will say goodnight to all that have helped me in this gigantic treck that I am going on

I have given you enough info to go on with as she only had the one child and you should be able to contact her at that address....but it could be a shock if she doesn't know about you of course

I made contact through a third party who assured me that this lady in Nottingham was my mother,that was way back in the late seventies and this person was from the adoption agency at st Katherine house, as they told me that they would make contact my behalf through a letter and a visit to the location to see if they still lived at the paticular address so all this time the poor person I thought was my bioloical mother might of not of been, oh dear this is not good, now I need to start all over again to find my biological family and I apologise to those whom I have upset as this was not at all my intention at all

This has obviously thrown you for a loop but look at the facts. The address you have has a family of Rileys living there who had a daughter called Evelyn.

I assume you were the one to make contact with the other poor Evelyn who also happened to have a child out of wedlock.

Clifford and Florence Riley lived at 123 Balgores Lane up until at least 1953...their daughter was born 1927 (posted on previous page) so isn't that enough to prove she is your mother

I am now very confused when she came to see me in the early 80s her husband said he saw traces of her brother in me and although she denied that I was her daughter she gave me too much personal information to say she was my mother

Take time to read this all again.

Somehow, you tracked down ANOTHER Evelyn Mary Riley and bought her marriage certificate. What led you to follow this particular one?
