Find Living Relatives

The original birth certificate should give you the address of your father's birth mother.
Unfortunately Campbell is a very common name in Scotland.
There is a possibility that the Christian name given to your father is after a relative of his birth mother (e.g her father)
I would suggest that you get a copy of the 1911 Census and try to find any possible link with the biological mother's name to a specific address.
Your father's mother may not be on the 1911 Census but there is a chance it may show her parents or perhaps siblings.
I have found using the 1911 Census a great source of information & have been able to discover relatives of whom I had no knowledge.
This may be a way forward in your search

Unlikely, though not impossible that some of his birth family will stumble on your posting here. As Agnes may still be living perhaps the adoption register is the route to go.

Hello, My dad was born Arthur Campbell, 11th March 1949 and was adopted in June 1949. Yesterday i received his original birth certificate and the name Agnes Campbell is registered as his birth mother. I wonder if this is any relation to you?
