WW2 Birth - Angela W Tilt

Wartime marriage & birth:

Marriage: 10 Jan 1944, Parish Church, Grangetown,Sunderland

Dennis George Tilt,aged 22 in 1944,a Gunner in R.A. Father: George Tilt, occupation - Maltster.
Mavis Povah,aged 21 in 1944,serving in A.T.S. Father: William Povah, occupation - Corn Merchant (deceased).
Witness`s at marriage: A A Gammage, H Wallbank.

Residence of both Dennis and Mavis at the time of marriage is Grange Farm, Sunderland, which, I believe, was used to billet the crew of the (nearby) heavy anti-aircraft gun in WW2.

I can find no further trace of Angela in the north east of England and assume she left the area with her parents at the end of the war.

However, approx 1962/63, Bilston, Staffordshire, an Angela W Tilt married a Stephen D Wesson, from what I can gather, there were no children born of this marriage. Then, about 1971, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, an Angela W Wesson married a David H Ford and there appears to be no children from this marriage either.

Is this the Angela who I seek, remarried to David, it seems to fit?

I know there is a David H and Angela W Ford in the Cannock area of Staffordshire, but have no way of contacting them.

Any help/info greatly appreciated.

Have you applied for Angela's marriage certificates to see who her father was - just for confirmation?

Do you mean you have found them on the ER, but have not paid to access the current address?

Where she lives now ties with her parents address area so looks very much like her,

As advised you need to buy some certs. She could have been the informant on her parents death certs too

A big thank you to you all for the replies to my query, the response has been great and I now have a bit more to work with, including a possible address and telephone contact. If the contact proves negative, then I will apply for Angela's marriage certificates.

I shall mark this query as having been answered as I believe all available avenue`s have been explored. However, should anyone reading my original message, and who believes they may be related to any of the individuals mentioned in it, I would be pleased to hear from them.
