I am interested in making contact with anyone whose surname is or was Gotham or who has members of the Gotham family in their direct line to exchange information obtained by family knowledge.

Have you contacted anyone who may have this surname in their tree?

Yes, I have contacted many people through Genes Reunited over the last few years but very few of them are direct descendants of a Gotham and therefore likely to have first-hand knowledge of their ancestors.

However, I have not given up hope!

Unless they are Genes members then cant see any chance someone will come along as a relative.

Have you tried following the line through to see if there are possible living relatives that you may find on the current electoral rolls

From the births records there are many Gotham but they are spread all over the country .

Do you want to give an indication of which family you are looking at

Sylvia was probably born and married in East Barnet (4 siblings) but her Father could be from Stoke.

As said above by others, look for contacts surname Gotham.
