I don't think school records past around 1911 are on line (but someone may correct me here). I think your only option would be to try to check at the national archives. The family were living Mile End, then the youngest children born Stepney - so you may need to look for poor law union records in these areas. |

Maybe he was sent there, and maybe he was adopted and his name was changed. |

He was one of eleven children altogether although two died in infancy, im really not sure how young, sorry i cant be any more helpfull. Dad didnt like to talk about his childhood, he and a sister got sent to a residentual school in brentwood, possibly poorhouse. Maybe he went there aswell? |

Can anyone help, my dad always talked of a brother "Charlie" who he hadnt seen since he was very young. I have found a birth so I know he existed, "Charles F Cosker June 1920" (source BMD) but cant find a marriage or a death! any help would be greatly appreciated. Mothers maiden name was White. |
