Find Living Relatives

My uncle Peter Edwards, born 1904 in Harrow, Middlesex was raised as Peter Richards (parents Peter Richards and Emma Edwards) and married Lillian White in 1929. He died in 1947. I would like to be in contact with their posterity, assuming they had children (who could possibly be alive today.) and grandchildren, etc.

Thank you for your help. Peter Richards was born to my grandparents Frederick Edwards and Clara Shackell but raised by Fred's sister Emma and her husband Peter Richards after his parents moved to Canada.

As for the death info. could she have lived to be 99?!

Her date of birth given on the death cert ties with her birth qtr of Mar 1901 :-)

How did you find this death info when Free BMD only searches deaths up to 1984?

It's because FreeBMD is an ongoing project with volunteer transcribers and its still an ongoing project

If you check on FreeBMD it will tell you how far its got and wether each year has been finished being transcribed

I have ordered the death cert but may not get much info about the informant. I wish we had a UK census more recent than 1911. The US has the 1940 census!

I searched for children after 1929 in Free BMD but with no results. Peter died in 1947. His wife Lilian was the informant.

I found the death on FMP........for which I pay a subscription.

It's clear that they did not have any issue.............so the line ends with them.........
