Have had OH investigating for me and he wondered whether this was the family to whom the cards were addressed..( perhaps the eldest daughter ?)...note her name . |

Thanks so much Gwyn. That is an interesting find. There is also the possibility that his girlfriend lived there which would be a Palmer or Bailey connection we think. If we can find a link to H.Moore that would be a great start in our search. Seems a big coincidence if there isn't a link. |

Today I had a chance to check electoral lists for 1918 / 1919 and there was no link to MOORE shown at the cafe ( 27 High Street, Hythe), but in previous ER books it seems a manager there was H.MOORE. |

Hi Gwyn, I will ask my cousin about the postcodes and also pass on cafe details thanks! I think he died very young as the postcards were to his girlfriend back home. Very sad. |
