I started at St Frances infant's, but did not get on with the nuns. Then went to St James school it was to be for a short while ,until i was old enough to accept the nuns[ never happened]. Then Avondale Park and on to Ladbroke school . Pat |

Ladbroke Upper school Was at the top of St. Marks Road, which backed onto St Charles Square. Ladbroke Lower school was near to the old picture house The Royality. |

Thank you Pat for that information. Used to Roller Skate down Barlby Road from hill in Ladbroke Grove fast as you like to the park. I only fell over once! |
