I am looking for my natural/birth mother. She was born around 1934-35 in Warwickshire. I was adopted in 1951 and would be grateful to hear from anyone who has information about her. Thanks

If you buy the birth certificate you will have her exact date of birth (which might be in 1934) and find what the 'J' stands for, which could be very useful.

Thanks - the J is for June which is on the adoption order. It's an unusual name even 70-80 years ago. I can find only one Betty June Grant! I'll follow up your suggestion.
