I was brought up in Rhodesia, my mum left when I was about 6 (1976), just disappeared! No-one knows where she is, not even her own mother who died a few years ago.

My Dad is ex Para, and knew to leave in 1979, when all the trouble started in Rhodesia/Zimbabwe.

I don't know where to start, but I have so many questions unanswered, I need closure. I have a 14 year old daughter and husband.

So many emotions go through my head daily, just need to find out is she alive or no longer with us, then I can move on.

Please help me, I'm desperate!!!!

Oh her name was Audrey Mary Kelly born in Birmingham as Jones. She also had family in Weston Rhyn, Oswestry.

Have you got her exact date of birth?

Do you believe she came to this country?

Was there a missing person search when she went, or did she indicate she was leaving so no investigation done?

Was her mother living in this country, but had no further contact with her?
