Arthur Barnett was a relative of my husband's grandmother. He appears on the 1901 census when he was living in Leytonstone. He emigrated to New Zealand and I would love to find out more about him and his family if anyone has any information. |

Sorry, I meant looking for matches with other members' trees? |

I have tried matches with other trees but cannot find any. I assume that the family stayed in New Zealand, as we were in contact with his brother Fred in Leytonstone until his death, and no mention was ever made of Arthur being back in the UK |

Sorry Sappho, no idea what Arthur did for a living after he left the Merchant Navy. I don't remember him being mentioned when we visited his brother Fred. |
