I am looking for John N Leach as he was the son of my Great Great Uncle Isaac Oakley Leach.
He was born in Dudley in 1943.
His mother's maiden name was Parkes.

Linda, your heading conflicts with what you have put in your post. Do you mean he was Isaac's grandson?

Do you know if he married? There is a marriage for a John N. Leach in Birmingham in 1981, no way to be sure he is yours but does give another name to look for.

WOW! Thanks so much for the info, and yes you are right, what a numpty I am. John N Leach was Irvine and Eva's son. Grandson to Isaac Oakley Leach.

Sorry! My father died just recently and I cannot think straight at the minute and am doing no end of things wrong!

I have no idea what happened to him - I just know his name as it was on Irvine's death cert - there is an address "Garth" Danzey Green, Tamworth-in-Arden, Solihull, West Midlands. John's middle name is Nigel.

The marriage you mention in Birmingham sounds likely doesnt it? Mind you he married quite late though, but not so unusual really I suppose.

Sorry to hear about your Dad Linda.
Have you seen that there is a John Nigel leach showing on 192.com 2002, living Tanworth? A bit more recent at least. And there are 3 other people there also. One name matches for the 1981 marriage.
