hello im Julie charlesworth i was adopted on the 17th June 1966 my birth name was claire jane barrett
Im looking for a stewart barrett who i belive to be my brother born in penzance but now may live in bude now
my birth mother was called Melvina barrett also we think she was born Penzance my birth farther was called Raymond Hosking my maternal grandmother was called florrie barrett we also belive i may have a sister called charlott jane barrett. if any one thinks they may be able to help me please get in contact many thanks

I doubt very much that your grandmother was born in 1939.......................only 3 years before your mother.

Was your brother also adopted?

If he was..........add yourself to the national adoption contact register

If he wasn't............please remove his DOB

Do you have any evidence to support the idea that the child born in 1963 IS your brother?

Melvina married Raymond Hosking in 1974

Charlotte was registered as Hosking aswell

Have you tried social networking sites for your brother ...or prehaps his names was changed as yours was

Stewart K Barrett as per birth cert, is on 192.com on the electoral register 2013. Bude.

i have all my adoption records and i know that my information is correct as is your information about my maternal grandparents. how have you acquired this information and if you know the people that i am searching for i will be grateful for any help you can give me. yours Julie.

If you know your birth mother died in 2008 have you tried to purchase her death cert to see who the informant was?

The informant may be able to help you find your family coz they may be your family!

We look on places like BMD FREE and ANCESTRY. COM the first is free but only holds info to about 1930 but day by day they are getting better and the second site gives info up to about 2 years ago

Now 192.com holds the possible telephone numbers of people today!!! and the electrol rolls but again you need to pay to get FULL info from that site

Electoral rolls are now available on this site from 2002-2013 (as long as they hav'nt opted out)

Freebmd http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl will give you birth marriages and deaths from 1837- approx. 1970 at the moment

Ancestry, Genes and Find my past will give the same up until 2005/06...some cases 2007
